Lesia, Co-Owner/Treatment Coordinator
Lesia has almost 30 years of experience in the dental field, and she has worked with Dr. Layman for nearly 20. She enjoys meeting new people, getting to know them, listening to their journeys regarding their sleep, and then offering solutions and hope. After working as a dental assistant, Lesia found her niche in the front office where, in her words, “patients are safer.” She also helped co-found GoGoBilling, a medical billing company that helped process claims for dentists nationwide and provided continuing education courses.
Lesia and her husband, Jason, have a young son, Greyson, and two unruly pugs at home. In her free time, she likes to garden, arrange flowers, and cook fun vegan dinners.
Angela, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Marketing Officer
Angela has been working in the dental sleep medicine field for over two full decades now, and she feels so proud to be part of a team that’s just as passionate about caring for patients with sleep apnea as she is! Her clinical skills include patient care, tomography, hands-on lab fabrication and quality control of oral appliances, and use of the Trios scanner. She also has extensive administrative expertise, including front office training, seminar lectures, practice management, marketing, and business development.
Away from work, Angela lives a happy life in Arizona with Bradley and their puppy Colton. Some of her favorite hobbies include walking, running, hiking, fishing, being outside in the sunshine, and cooking/baking. Baking in particular is one of her biggest passions!
Cristy, Front Office
Cristy likes helping patients get the best sleep care they can so they go on to enjoy happy, successful lives. She previously worked as an Office Manager at a practice that specialized in TMJ treatment and has served as a Sleep Apnea Coordinator as well.
Cristy was born in the Philippines and got to live all over the world growing up because her stepfather was in the Navy. These days, she likes to spend time with her husband, go on road trips, lift weights, shop, hike, and swim whenever she can.
Ulysio, Front Office Manager
Ulysio is always happy to show our patients that there is a path forward when it comes to their sleep and snoring problems. He attended Hampton University and the University of Illinois, and he has experience in medical billing for dentists as well as office management. His favorite thing to do outside of the office is spend time with friends and family.
Monica, Prior Authorizations
Monica says that the best part of her job is the people she works with—referring to both our patients as well as her fellow team members. She has extensive training in medical billing for dentists, especially when it comes to sleep medicine. She is originally from Ottawa, Canada (she was born in a tiny mining town on the edge of the Arctic circle), and she likes to spend her free time with friends and family.
Nichelle, Clinical Sleep Specialist
Nichelle has been with our practice for almost 20 years, and she brings 30 years of overall experience to the team. She says that helping our patients get true, restful sleep is consistently rewarding—it always shows in their faces and attitude! She completed her training as a dental assistant at Orange Coast Community College and has taken countless advanced training courses over the decades.
Nichelle and her wonderful husband have been married for 30 years, and they have a beautiful daughter, Kiely. Together, they like to go camping, hiking, and traveling. She also has a monthly book club with her girlfriends.
Tanya, Billing
Tanya says that she is very fortunate to work with such an incredible team, and her goal is to make billing simple and transparent for our patients. She attended Creighton University and Arizona State University, and before she came to dentistry, Tanya worked in the drag racing and aerospace manufacturing industries! Today, she likes to spend time with her daughter and son, go to live music, ski, ride her Harley, and practice yoga.
Claudia, Dental Assistant
Claudia isn’t shy about saying that she loves her job! From the doctors to her coworkers to the patients, she always looks forward to coming to work. She attended the Mesa Institute of Medical and Dental Technology and has experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.
Originally from San Diego, Claudia has one adult daughter who is currently serving in the U.S. Airforce. Her big passion is traveling, but she also likes to attend live theater, visit museums, and try new foods.

Jessica, Front Office Specialist
Jessica says that being a part of our team enables her to do her absolute best work when it comes to serving our patients and giving them the most seamless experience possible. Before joining us, she had eight years of experience working as a medical assistant and allergy technician.
Life at home is busy for Jessica thanks to her husband of 15+ years, their four children, a dog, four cats, and cockatiel. She loves spending time at home, and she also volunteers at different cat rescues to provide care for the animals until they are adopted.

Emilia
Emilia is always eager to have a conversation and truly engage with our patients, so she’s a joy to talk to whether you’re getting scheduled or asking a question. A graduate of Gateway Community College, she worked with a TMJ specialist before joining our team.
Emilia is kept very busy by her young son, so her weekends often consist of her taking him to soccer. She also likes to shop, get her nails done, garden, and dance! Her long-term goal is to have a farm with a wide variety of animals, plants, and trees that she’ll take care of.

Nicole, Front Office
Nicole likes that her job is never the same day after day, and there is always something new to learn! She graduated from Pima Community College as a dental assistant and has experience in phlebotomy, first aid, and business schooling.
Nicole has four children, and when she isn’t hanging out with them, she likes to travel. She loves the water, and feeding sharks is on her bucket list! She also volunteers within the community and plans to go back to school to further her education one day.
Cristina, Billing Representative
Cristina has over 10 years of experience in the medical billing field, so she is more than able to advocate on our patients’ behalf to guarantee they receive the coverage they are entitled to. She and her husband, Juan, have been together for over 15 years, and they have a young daughter and son. You’ll often find her trying out new recipes, and as a family, everyone likes to visit and discover all of Arizona’s national landmarks.
